International Trauma Care (ITACCS), which also operates under the name
Trauma Care International, is the leading international multidisciplinary
society dedicated to improving the care of trauma patients. The society
originated as the International Trauma Anesthesia and Critical Care Society
(ITACCS) in 1988. ITC has evolved into an international not-for-profit
scientific foundation and professional association now active in over 40
countries with a reputation for producing and sponsoring a large volume of
high quality educational programs and academic activities.
ITACCS' dedication to all aspects of trauma control and the improvement of
trauma care throughout the world is evidenced in many successful projects that
have kept in motion throughout the past decade. Without a doubt, this is illustrated
in the promotion of knowledge, skills and art of traumatology through an ambitious comprehensive, and complex educational strategy that includes the availability of
educational programs pertinent to the interest of all who contribute to the care of
the trauma victim.
